Austin’s Yumé Burger is hitting the road and joining food trucks from all over the state at the first annual Texas Food Truck Fest in Dallas. Founders Eric Silverstein and Mark Tamiso will showcase their delicious and innovative Japanese-inspired burgers and hot dogs, like the JapaJam and the Yume Dog.
Yumé Burger pays homage to the Japanese burger that co-founder Eric Silverstein grew up eating while living in Japan. With Eric’s know-how and fellow co-founder Mark Tamiso’s chef skills, the two have adopted the Japanese hamburger and introduced it to Austin. The innovative burgers and hot dogs at Yumé Burger showcase the savory Japanese flavors with the traditional American recipes as their foundation.
The event features more than 30 food trucks from all over the great state of Texas, entertainment, live music and a full roster of family friendly activities. In addition to sharing their tasty dishes, the food trucks are rolling into Dallas in support of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Presented by U.S. Food Trucks, Texas Food Truck Fest will donate 15% of their admission proceeds to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of North Texas.
